The Playhouse raises the curtain on a glorious restored Bar, Tapas Restaurant & Nightclub with Maitre'D EPoS touchscreen tills.
Portrush, the nightlife hub of the North Coast, now has a new addition to it's nightlife scene with the recent opening of The Playhouse, an impressive buiding comprising bars, off licence, nightclub, cinema and tapas bar over 3 floors.
The Playhouse was originally a 2-screen cinema but the new owners wanted to recreate cinema's golden age with a complete refurbishment, tastefully restoring the art deco building on Main Street into a venue offering something for everyone. The building itself is deceptively spacious, being much larger inside than it looks from the outside.
Owner, Andy Murphy of Eventsec, chose the Maitre'D point of sale system from Hospitality I.T. because of its ability to cope with heavy demand on busy nights, comprehensive software capabilities, extensive reporting options and the reputation of Hospitality I.T. to be their solution provider.
Hospitality I.T. installed the following into The Playhouse:

- Maitre'D Back Office software
- 7 x Maitre'D Point of Sale licenses
