The new Bengal Brasserie opens on the Lisburn Rd, Belfast with Maitre'D EPoS touchscreen tills.

Hospitality I.T. are proud to be the chosen EPoS provider for the new Bengal Brasserie restaurant, located at 322 Lisburn Road, Belfast, which opens to the public on 5th November 2009.

As Ireland's largest Indian restaurant, the Bengal Brasserie on the Lisburn Road is a sister restaurant to the long-established and extremely popular Ormeau Road Bengal Brasserie.  This 164-seater restaurant is of a jaw-dropping design, and is a combination of the rural Indian village and the ultra modern.  No expense has been spared in sourcing the finest marble, statues and wall hangings that surely add to the overall dining experience.  The restaurant had been 13 months in development and taken another 4 months to build, and is the culmination of owner, Nigel Rahman and business partner, Paul Bythe's imagination, vision and passion for food.

In addition to the main area, Bengal Brasserie will also seat a further 65 for private dining, and offer a Delivery and Collection service.

Nigel and Paul chose the Maitre'D point of sale system from Hospitality I.T. because of the software's ability to intrinsically handle all their requirements.  The Maitre'D Delivery module helps to streamline all delivery operations and manage delivery drivers to increase speed and efficiency.  Full customer details are recorded, with records saved by telephone number so staff do not have to re-enter information when a customer re-orders.  Delivery features are seamlessly integrated with all Maitre'D solutions for managing table service or carry out business.

Hospitality I.T. have also worked with Bengal Brasserie's website developers for integrated online ordering.
